B2Prime connects Claude to your B2Prime trading account through a read-only MCP surface. Claude can pull live platform market data - tickers, order books and market summaries - alongside your balances, margin, open positions, order and position history, and analytics and reference data. Use it to summarize your portfolio in plain language, review how a position developed, compare exposure across instruments, reconcile fills against your own records, or ask questions about months of trading history without exporting spreadsheets. This connector is strictly read-only. All the tools are annotated read-only, and no order-placing, order-cancelling, position-closing or trigger-setting tools exist on this surface. They are structurally absent rather than permission-gated, so Claude cannot place, modify or cancel a trade, move funds, or change an account setting through this connector. Access uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE against B2Prime's own authorization server. You sign in with the credentials you already use for your B2Prime terminal, the connector receives a short-lived token carrying only the mcp:read scope, and no API key or password is stored in Claude.
