Bevara
Bevara lets Claude show you files in formats it can’t read itself, and convert them to formats that open anywhere. Ask Claude to show a TIFF scan, a camera RAW photo, a JPEG XL image, a FLAC recording or an Ogg Theora video, and a viewer opens in the conversation with the decoded file. Files are decoded in your browser by open-source WebAssembly decoders from the Bevara filter registry. A file you drop into the viewer never leaves your browser; registry is only used to pick the right decoder from the file format. What you can do: View images: TIFF (fax included), camera RAW (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Leica, Pentax, Panasonic), JPEG XL, JPEG XR, JPEG 2000, BPG, FLIF, PSD, DDS, ICNS, JBIG, JPEG-LS and more. Play audio: FLAC, WavPack, Musepack, TTA, Opus, Speex, DTS, AMR, GSM, LC3, MOD and more. Play video: Ogg Theora, WebM (AV1, VP9), AVS2, AVS3, EVC, Dirac, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 streams, animated GIF. Convert: images to PNG, JPEG or WebP; audio to WAV; video to MP4 (H.264 with AAC audio). Download the result from the viewer. Check support: Claude can look up any file extension in the live list of formats, with its decoder, license and test status.
