CaseReader Pro keeps a legal matter's file in one place: the engagement letter, every letter, email and recorded meeting, and the exhibits, pleadings, statements and records on file. It reads each document once, works out who sent it to whom, suggests which earlier letter each reply answers (you confirm), picks out response deadlines, and checks the cases each letter cites against CourtListener. The connector lets Claude read that file. Pick a matter at the start of a chat, and Claude can: - List the correspondence in date order, with sender, recipient, sent or received, and response-due dates - Find letters by who sent them, when, or whether they cite a case - Follow a conversation from the first letter to the latest reply, and see which letters still await an answer - Read any document in full, including the ones that are not correspondence - Open verified briefs of the cases a letter cites, with a link to each brief - Search the matter's documents by meaning - Read the engagement letter and the matter's deadlines Every document is labelled with the side it came from, so another party's claims are reported as theirs, not as established fact. The connector is read-only: it cannot upload, change or delete anything. Each chat works on one matter, and a person sees through the connector only what they can already see in CaseReader Pro. For attorneys, their staff, and people handling their own legal matters.
