CauseComp
CauseComp brings nonprofit compensation benchmarks into Claude. Ask in plain language - for example, what an executive director typically earns at a $5M human-services organization in Ohio - and Claude returns benchmark pay ranges for the role, organization size, sector and location, with the data vintage and method attached. Executive benchmarks are built from IRS Form 990 filings (Schedule J and Part VII) across hundreds of thousands of nonprofit returns. Workforce benchmarks for broad-based roles such as nurses, accountants and program managers draw on BLS wage data. Claude can also look up what a specific organization reported on its Form 990, assemble a set of comparable organizations for a role, describe what a role does, and produce a board-ready compensation report. Boards and compensation committees use CauseComp when setting or reviewing executive pay. CauseComp provides comparability data for informational purposes and does not provide legal or tax advice. Data like this supports — but does not by itself establish — a board's rebuttable presumption of reasonableness under IRC §4958 (intermediate sanctions), which also requires advance approval by an independent board body and contemporaneous documentation. The connector requires a CauseComp Professional subscription. Every tool is read-only: Claude can look up and summarize data but cannot change anything in your account.
