CDXGeoStream gives Claude live geographic data for the United States and Canada. Ask in plain language and Claude calls the right tool: - Look up ZIP and postal codes: city, county, state or province, coordinates and population. - Measure straight-line distance between codes, list every ZIP within a radius, find the nearest ZIPs to a point, or pick the closest from your own list. - Find ZIPs by city, county or state. - Pull census demographics for a ZIP, or totals for a whole city, county, state or province: population, income, age, education and housing. - Geocode street addresses to latitude and longitude, reverse-geocode coordinates, and return the U.S. Census tract (GEOID) for an address, ZIP or point. - Get driving distance and time between places, and order a list of stops into an efficient route. - Validate and standardize U.S. mailing addresses to USPS form, with ZIP+4 and deliverability. Most tools take a list, so Claude can work through a whole column of addresses or ZIPs in one call. All 17 tools are read-only. CDXGeoStream is credit-metered. You need a CDXGeoStream account and API key; the Free plan covers ZIP lookups, distances, demographics, census tracts by ZIP and address verification, and Pro or purchased credits add geocoding, driving routes and road-optimized ordering. The pricing and account_balance tools are free, so Claude can check costs and your remaining credits at any time.
