Citation Gap runs an on-page GEO audit (generative engine optimization, also called AEO, answer engine optimization) on a web page you choose. It fetches the live page, checks the signals that help AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude read, quote and cite it, and returns a report with a score, a prioritised issue list and paste-ready fixes. Reports available: - Complete GEO report: your page benchmarked against 2 to 6 competitor pages for a target query, covering content gaps, technical issues, answer-engine readiness, structured data and an action plan. - Technical and on-page audit: indexability, titles and meta, headings, structured-data validity, links, mobile, security headers and crawlability. - AI answer-engine readiness: direct-answer opening, question headings, FAQ depth, statistics and citations, author and freshness signals, and AI crawler access. - Structured data and EntityMap: schema.org and JSON-LD coverage and validity, Organization and author entities, with ready-to-paste markup. - Winning-page blueprint: the page you would need to build for a query, based on the pages you supply as already cited for it. Every report is stored at a shareable link with a PDF download. You can list your past reports, and delete all your data at any time. Citation Gap only reads public pages, and it does not audit pages whose sites restrict automated access. Sign-in is with Google; your email and name are not stored.
