DatumDesk answers Australian National Construction Code (NCC) questions and shows you where every answer comes from. Ask in plain English while you work, and get an answer scoped to the right NCC edition, state or territory and building class, with each requirement tied to its clause and source document. DatumDesk is built for architects, building designers, energy assessors, engineers and interior designers who need to check a requirement quickly and stand behind it. It draws on NCC 2022 and NCC 2025 across all three volumes and the Housing Provisions, state and territory variations, ABCB handbooks and referenced guidance. A jurisdiction map tracks which edition is operative in each state as adoption changes, so a question about Tasmania or Western Australia is answered against the edition that actually applies there. Two tools: • Ask DatumDesk an NCC question: a cited answer, its scope (edition, state, building class) and the clauses and documents it relies on. • Which NCC edition applies: the edition operative in each state or territory today, any election window and the next change date. Both tools are read only. Questions use your DatumDesk subscription and are saved to your DatumDesk history, so you keep a record of what you checked and why.
