DealFinder

ClaudeCommunityby Cottontail

DealFinder answers one question: where is the lowest price for this specific product right now? Ask Claude where to buy a named product — a vacuum, a TV, a pair of running shoes, a thermostat — and DealFinder returns current offers from multiple online sellers ranked by total price (item plus shipping when the seller shows it), each with a direct link to the product page. Paste a product link and it returns the same page as a trackable link when the seller runs an affiliate program, leaving any link that already carries someone else's referral code untouched. How it stays honest: ranking is by price only and never reads commission data — a seller that pays nothing is ranked exactly like one that does, and a test in our codebase fails the build if that changes. Every response includes a one-sentence disclosure that some links may earn us a commission at no change to the price. There is no checkout, cart, or payment capability; the user buys on the seller's own site. Privacy: DealFinder receives only the tool arguments Claude sends (the product name or the pasted URL). It never reads the conversation, memory, or files, and stores no per-user data. Results are new-condition listings by default; used, open-box and refurbished listings are included only when asked (include_used), and the response says so when nothing new is for sale. Two read-only tools: find_best_price (product name → ranked offers) and resolve_link (URL → same page, trackable when available). Public product pages, head-to-head comparisons and seller tables with price history are at gocottontail.com; developer docs and an OpenAPI spec are at gocottontail.com/docs.
