Decent Cocktails brings two of the best-known bar books to Claude: The PDT Cocktail Book (Jim Meehan) and Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails, nearly 800 recipes. Every ingredient is given in grams as well as the book's measures, with the method in plain words, glass and garnish, alcohol and sugar figures, and a picture. Ask for a cocktail by name, search by spirit or ingredient ("something with mezcal and lime"), or look up an ingredient to see every cocktail that uses it. Every recipe credits its source book. With a free decentespresso.com account you also get Your Bar: tell Claude what bottles and fresh ingredients you have ("any gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, lemons") and it tells you which cocktails you can make right now, which ones are one ingredient away, and which bottle would unlock the most new drinks. Keep a separate bar for home and the office, save a Wishlist, and mark the cocktails you've made.
