Decree — Omani Legislation
Decree is the reference database of Omani legislation, built and maintained by Decree Tech LLC since 2021. This connector gives Claude direct, read-only access to that database so you can research the law of the Sultanate of Oman from a conversation. What you can do: • Search royal decrees, laws, regulations and ministerial decisions across both the English (decree.om) and Arabic (arabic.decree.om) corpora in one query. • Pull the full text of any instrument, in either language. • Find an instrument by its official number, such as 53/2023 or 47/97. • Check whether a law is current: every result carries its status, the amendments that affect it, and a pointer to the consolidated text you should cite instead of the original. • Retrieve quotable passages ranked by relevance, or run an exact keyword search for names and defined terms. • List the newest legislation as it is published in the Official Gazette. Every result links back to the authoritative page on decree.om or arabic.decree.om, and marks which language holds the official text so that a translation is never presented as the provision itself. Who it is for: lawyers, in-house counsel, compliance teams, researchers and anyone who needs to answer a question about Omani law with a citation. Requirements: a Decree account with an active Lex AI subscription, or an email address covered by an organisation licence. Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. The connector only reads data; it never writes to your account.
