Dishplay MCP connects Claude to Foodbot's Dishplay restaurant digital signage platform. Agents authenticate as Dishplay principals with the same permissions as your portal users, so every tool call goes through existing Dishplay access control with no second permission list. Use it to inspect screens and devices, read playlists and schedules, check media and dayparts, and (where your key allows) update content the same way the Dishplay app would. Stage and production use separate keys so a stage key never works on production. Typical use: ops and support agents that need live screen state, playlist contents, and schedule context without logging into the portal. Fire Stick and TV players stay as they are; this connector talks to the Dishplay backend APIs.
