DOGO
DOGO is a UK registered charity (number 1198719) that pays for medical treatment for people who cannot afford it, then shows each donor exactly who their money helped. With this connector, Claude can: - Explain how DOGO works: a person is registered at a DOGO stand, treated at a partner hospital, and a donor's gift is matched to that one person within a few working days. - Show live figures from DOGO's database: treatments funded, people waiting for a donor, partner hospitals, cities, and what a typical treatment costs in pounds (usually a few pounds, because treatments are priced locally). - Tell the story of a real person DOGO has treated who is waiting for a donor, so you can see who a gift would help. - Set up a donation. Claude collects a first name, email address and amount (monthly from £5, or a one-off £10 or more) and returns a short link on dogoapp.org that opens Stripe's secure checkout. Payment is completed there, never in the conversation, and DOGO never sees card details. - Send an existing donor their impact card, by email, to the address they give. Privacy is built in. Patient information is limited to what DOGO's public impact card already shows: a first name, age, gender, city, the person's own story, and the treatment described in plain words such as Consultation or Tablets. A story may mention a common illness such as malaria, but never a drug name, a surname or a photograph; the pictures are illustrations. The connector never shows one person's impact card to another, and it does not read any user's account. DOGO currently works in Nigeria (Kano, Taraba and Jalingo, Yobe, Lagos) and Uganda (Kampala) through local partner hospitals. More at dogoapp.org.
