Entalpa keeps a product's spec as live, structured data: stakeholders, user stories, requirements with acceptance criteria, open questions, subsystems and interface contracts, linked to each other and versioned.
With the Entalpa connector, Claude can:
- Read the spec before it writes code: the stories and requirements a task touches, with their acceptance criteria, sources and open questions.
- Keep the spec current: create and update stories and requirements, answer open questions, and record on each requirement its status, the files that implement it and the tests that cover it.
- Bring in existing specs: import an OpenSpec or GitHub Spec Kit repository, and export the current spec back as OpenSpec or Spec Kit files.
- Run Entalpa's own AI when you ask: draft stories and requirements from a description, find gaps and conflicts, assess how ready the spec is, and let you review each proposed change before it is applied.
- Track change: save snapshots, compare versions and undo a change.
Every change is made with your Entalpa account and appears in the Entalpa web app, where your team works on the same spec. Entalpa works alongside CLAUDE.md, OpenSpec and Spec Kit rather than replacing them.
