Epidemiakartta answers questions about the current infectious disease situation in Finland using official public data from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL): the National Infectious Diseases Register, primary care visits for respiratory infections, hospital care (Hilmo), wastewater monitoring and influenza vaccination coverage, nationally and for all 23 wellbeing services counties. Ask "What is circulating in Finland right now?", "Is influenza spreading in Pirkanmaa?" or "How many people have been hospitalised with RSV in recent weeks?". Every answer states the week it refers to, the epidemic level (ECDC/WHO MEM method), the change over four weeks, the comparison with a typical season and its sources (THL, CC BY 4.0). The latest, still incomplete week is always excluded. Data is updated daily. Works in Finnish and English. Epidemiakartta provides statistics, not medical advice or an official assessment. It is built and maintained by KUVIO Group Oy. Organisations can integrate the full data through a paid API.
