FindEnergyRates
FindEnergyRates gives Claude current home electricity plans and rates from state-published and supplier sources, so you can answer questions like "what's the cheapest plan for my ZIP and usage," "is my current rate any good," "who is my utility," and "what's the price to compare." What it does: - Finds your electric utility from a ZIP code (and, in Texas, your delivery company). - Lists current residential plans for your utility, ranked by cost at your monthly usage, with term length, cancellation fee, and renewable percentage. - Returns the utility's published price to compare in states that have one, so you can tell whether an offer beats the default rate. - Flags plans whose low average price depends on a bill-credit threshold, so a "cheap" plan isn't a surprise. - Links each plan to the supplier's own page. Nothing enrolls, submits, or changes anything — all tools are read-only. Coverage: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Washington, DC. Texas prices refresh daily; every result carries its as-of date. Disclosure: FindEnergyRates is a licensed electricity broker in Texas only (PUCT BR250242). Outside Texas, results are listings of published offers and we receive no compensation. Some Texas plans pay FindEnergyRates on enrollment; those are marked referral: true in results, and this never affects ranking — plans are ordered by price alone. Limits: 20 lookups a minute and 300 a day per address. Setup and example questions: findenergyrates.com/mcp-for-assistants
