firmfact is where market data teams keep their vendor contracts, invoices, cost allocations and usage, across vendors such as Bloomberg, LSEG, FactSet, S&P Global, ICE and CME. This connector lets Claude answer questions about that workspace in plain English: which vendors you buy from, what each contract and line item says, what each cost centre carries, who holds which subscriptions, and how much of what you pay for is actually used. It works only from what is already in your firmfact workspace. It is not a market data feed and returns no prices, quotes or reference data. You sign in with your normal firmfact account, and the connector sees exactly what you see, with your permissions and legal-entity scope. When you approve the connection you choose whether it reaches every workspace you belong to or just one. Most tools only read. One tool, chat_with_workspace, hands broad or multi-part questions to firmfact's own workspace chat and saves that conversation as a chat thread in your workspace, where you can find it later. The connector never creates, changes or deletes contracts, invoices or allocations; where a change would be needed, it describes a proposal for you to confirm in firmfact. Requires a firmfact workspace on the Professional plan or above.
