FreightUtils
FreightUtils gives Claude 25 read-only tools for the questions freight people ask every day, and every answer names its source and edition. Freight calculations: cubic metres, loading metres on a trailer, air chargeable weight, how many boxes fit on a pallet, totals for a mixed consignment by sea, air or road, unit conversions and the CO2e of a transport leg. Dangerous goods by road: the ADR 2025 entry for any UN number, the ADR 1.1.3.6 small-load points check for a whole load, and limited and excepted quantity checks. A UN number with several Table A rows is never guessed: the tools list the candidates and ask for the packing group. Customs and trade: HS 2022 commodity codes, UK import duty and VAT estimates read live from the GOV.UK Trade Tariff, Incoterms 2020, and EU ICS2 checks of a goods description before an entry summary declaration. Codes, places and equipment: airlines by air waybill prefix (every holder of a shared prefix, never just the first), AWB, container and IMO check digits, airports and the airports nearest a point, UN/LOCODE locations, container, air-cargo ULD and road-vehicle specifications, and a resolver for an identifier you cannot place. No account and no sign-in. FreightUtils is a neutral reference: it sells no freight and pushes no carrier, and the tools book, file and pay for nothing. Answers are reference information, not legal, customs or dangerous-goods compliance advice.
