Gardener's Almanac keeps track of a vegetable garden: what is growing where, everything done to it, and what comes next. Connected to Claude, the garden can be worked by describing it. Say the beds were watered before breakfast and it goes in the log; ask what needs doing this week and the to-do list comes back; ask whether tomorrow is worth watering and Claude checks the same forecast the app does. Sowing, planting and watering times are worked out for your own ground. You say where the garden is, once, and the timing comes from that place's own climate, anywhere in the world. Every plant is stored as numbers: the warmth a seed needs to germinate, the days from sowing to a first picking, the cold it will and will not take. The same plant gives the right answer in Palermo and in Luleå. Each growing area keeps its own soil moisture estimate, fed by the forecast where the garden is. Pots dry in hours where open ground takes days, and a greenhouse never waters itself. Sowing, planting out, watering, weeding, harvests and notes are kept as a permanent record that spans years. It answers "when did the garlic go in last year?", and it is what makes next season's advice better than this season's. A garden can be shared with a writer, who can log, plan and edit, or a reader, who sees everything and changes nothing. Claude acts as you, with your role in each garden, and can do nothing you couldn't do yourself in the app. Signing in is by a code sent to your email address; a new address creates an account. The plant catalogue, the articles and your own garden records are free. The timing, the watering forecast and the to-do list are free for a first period and then need a subscription, taken out in the app. No ads, no advertising profiles, no third-party analytics.
