Genealogy Researcher works with GEDCOM files that you upload. Ask Claude to find a person, read facts and sources, list ancestors and descendants, explain how two people are related and check a tree for impossible dates. The oldest ancestor and the longest line come back as two separate results. The connector also searches public WikiTree profiles, the Internet Archive, Open Archives and Wikidata, and builds search links for record sites such as Antenati, Digitarq, FreeBMD and the Hemeroteca Digital Brasileira. Research projects keep questions, plans, search logs, evidence and conclusions in the style of the Genealogical Proof Standard, and you can invite other researchers as editors or viewers. The connector does not write to any other tree, does not search private archives and does not analyze DNA. FamilySearch support is planned, pending FamilySearch's authorization. Tree data and AI answers are leads, not proof.
