GimmeText turns recordings into text your AI can use. Ask your AI to transcribe something and it gives you a private upload link: drop any video or audio file (phone videos, voice memos, meeting and screen recordings, podcasts, lectures) and the transcript comes straight back into the conversation — ready to summarize, turn into notes, pull action items from, or caption. There is nothing to install and nothing to convert: your browser extracts the audio before upload, so the video file itself never leaves your device. Audio is transcribed on our server and deleted as soon as it's done, transcripts are deleted after 30 days, and recordings are never used to train AI. A free plan includes 5 minutes a month with no card; paid plans add more hours. Works with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients.
