Gistsmith is an AI notetaker for Mac and iPhone. It listens to your meetings and writes the notes: a summary, the decisions made, a task list and an outline. This connector lets Claude search and read those notes, so you can ask things like "What did we decide about pricing last week?", "Which tasks do I still owe from my meetings with Acme?" or "Summarise my meetings since Monday". Tools (all read-only): • search: finds meetings by their titles, summaries, decisions, tasks and outlines. • fetch: opens one meeting note as Markdown. • list_meetings: lists meetings, newest first, within a date range or folder. • list_my_tasks: lists the tasks assigned to you across your meetings. Privacy: access is off until you turn on "Let AI assistants read my meeting notes" in the Gistsmith app (Settings › Connections) and approve Claude on the Gistsmith sign-in page. Claude reads notes only, never audio or transcripts, and cannot change or delete anything. You can disconnect Claude, or turn access off and delete the copy, at any time in the app.
