Greenback brings your whole financial picture into Claude. Ask what you have across checking, savings, credit cards and investments; what you spent on dining last month; which budgets you've gone over; or what your latest transactions were — and get answers from your own Greenback data. Connecting gives Claude read-only access to your profile, accounts and balances, and transactions, categories and budgets. If you ask Claude to organise things — create a spending category with a monthly budget, or a rule that categorises transactions automatically — Greenback asks for that permission separately, at that moment, on its own approval screen. The connector cannot move money, make payments, delete anything, or change a category you chose. Each person signs in with their own Greenback account and sees only their own data. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Security → Connected apps.
