IPinfo connects Claude to IPinfo's IP address data, so you can ask about any IPv4 or IPv6 address in plain language. Find where an IP is located, from country and continent down to city, region, coordinates, timezone, and postal code. See which company or network it belongs to, with its ASN, organization name, domain, and network type. Check whether it belongs to a VPN, proxy, relay, or Tor exit node, whether it's a known residential proxy, and whether it's a hosting, anycast, mobile, or satellite address. You can also check your IPinfo API usage and remaining quota. Lookups accept many addresses at once, so Claude can work through a list of IPs from a log file, a support ticket, or a security alert and summarize what it finds. Common uses include investigating suspicious logins and fraud signals, analyzing traffic and access logs, and understanding where users and requests come from. Sign in with your IPinfo account to connect. Every account includes country, continent, and ASN data. City-level geolocation, privacy detection, and residential proxy detection are available when your IPinfo plan includes them. Private, reserved, and bogon addresses are rejected rather than looked up. All tools are read-only and never change your account.
