Jotpile is a calm notes app built native to MCP, so Claude can work in your notes from the conversation: save something the moment it comes up, find what you wrote months ago, file and tag notes, link related notes, and set reminders. Every note it hands back comes with a link that opens it in Jotpile. The app itself is deliberately quiet. Notes land in one pile with no decisions at capture time; notebooks, tags, colours and pins are there when you want them, never required. The editor handles headings, lists, checklists, tables, code, images and file attachments. Capture is one step: type, add a photo, or forward an email to your private address. Search takes quoted phrases, OR and exclusions, and filters by notebook, tag, date, reminder or attachment. Reminders arrive as notifications on the devices where you turn them on. Import from Evernote and Zoho Notebook; export everything to Markdown or JSON, images included. With the connector, Claude gets the same vocabulary you use in the app: notebooks, tags, named colours, links and backlinks, reminders, archive and trash. Every tool is annotated: reads are marked read-only, and anything that deletes for good or overwrites a note is marked destructive, so Claude asks before it runs. Trash can be restored for 30 days, and version history keeps automatic snapshots of earlier states that Claude can list and restore. The connector cannot upload images or files; those stay in the app. Jotpile runs in the browser and installs as an app on phone and desktop. Data lives in the EU. Built by a small, self-funded Danish company. A free account with no card is enough to connect.
