Jungle Cleaner

ClaudeCommunityby WebShaped LDA

Jungle Cleaner finds unused and over-provisioned resources in your AWS account, shows what each one costs per month, and walks you through cleaning them up. The connection is a read-only role: it can look at the account, and it cannot change anything itself. It will simply supply Claude with the commands it needs to perform the recommended changes. **How it works** 1. Connect. Ask Claude to connect an AWS account. You run one CloudFormation stack or add the Terraform module. That creates a narrow IAM role that can read the account and cannot change it. 2. Scan. Ask Claude to scan. It checks the services where spend actually sits — compute, storage, databases, and networking — and returns each finding in plain English with a monthly cost. 3. Clean up. Ask Claude to clean. You get a step-by-step guide for each finding: the CLI command, or the Terraform, CloudFormation, OpenTofu, or Pulumi change if the resource is in code. Jungle Cleaner checks that an idle resource is still unused before it recommends deleting it. 4. Verify. After you make the change, ask Claude to verify the savings. Jungle Cleaner checks each fix with AWS and adds the confirmed amount to your running total.
