Klap turns your own long videos into short vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, right from Claude. Ask Claude for shorts and pick a video file in Klap's upload card, or share a Google Drive or Dropbox link or a direct link to a video file. Klap finds the most engaging moments, reframes them to 9:16 around the speaker, adds animated captions and ranks every clip by virality score. Clipping runs in the background: the card shows its progress, then turns into a gallery of your shorts that you can play right there. From the gallery you can: • Watch each short with its captions • Download a short as an MP4 • Schedule a short to your connected YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook accounts, at the time you choose • Open a short in the Klap editor to fine-tune captions, layout and length You can also guide the clipping ("the funniest moments about pricing", "15-second clips", "5 clips at most"), set the spoken language, and ask for your recent projects. Klap in Claude works with videos you own: files you upload and your own Drive, Dropbox or direct links. It doesn't take links to video platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Kick or Vimeo, and it only cuts and edits the footage you give it. Using Klap in Claude requires a Klap account, and exports and scheduling follow your Klap plan. Social accounts are connected on klap.app, and Claude never receives their credentials. Klap only publishes a post after you confirm the short, the accounts, the time and the caption.
