The Lexplorer Workbench is the workspace for legal case files in Lexplorer, the Swiss platform for legal and tax research. With this connector Claude works directly in the folders you share: it reads Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files, e-books and saved Lexplorer sources, searches all documents at once with synonyms and translations (every hit with file and page), checks which exhibits cited in a brief are missing, compares documents, drafts new Word, Excel and PDF documents, edits Word documents as tracked changes with comments, fills your templates and highlights passages in PDFs. You stay in control of your data: Claude only sees the folders and files you share for external AI assistants in the Lexplorer app, and within them only anonymised files, files you confirmed as free of personal data, Lexplorer sources and files Claude created itself. Files pseudonymised in Lexplorer are anonymised for Claude: it never receives the mapping and cannot identify the people (people appear as "Person A", companies as "Firma B"). Original data, deleting, the trash and earlier versions are not available through this connection. Your files are stored and processed in Europe; this connection runs no AI model on Lexplorer's side.
