Linkly AI turns the documents on your computer into a knowledge base Claude can search and read — without uploading them anywhere. The Linkly AI desktop app indexes your local files (PDF, Word, Markdown, slides, spreadsheets, scanned PDFs and images via OCR, audio and video via transcripts) on your own machine. This connector lets Claude reach that index through a secure tunnel with OAuth sign-in, so you can ask questions grounded in your own materials instead of pasting files into the chat. Key features: - Search: keyword and semantic search across all your indexed documents, scoped to a folder or library when you need it. - Read precisely: get a document's outline, grep for exact names, dates or terms, and read specific line ranges — so Claude can work through long documents without hitting context limits. - Explore and list: an overview of what's in your knowledge base, plus folder and library listings. - Cloud libraries: discover, link and search public or shared knowledge libraries on Linkly AI, available even when your computer is offline. - Notes: Claude can create and edit markdown notes in your Linkly AI Notes folder. Notes are never deleted by Claude. Searching local documents requires the Linkly AI desktop app (macOS, Windows, Linux) with remote access enabled.
