Maestria
Maestria brings two things into the conversation: Brazilian case law and the document collection of the law firm you belong to. For case law, every decision comes with a ready card — court, case number, rapporteur, panel, dates, headnote (ementa) and how to cite it — and, whenever the citation graph has something to say, with a validity seal: applied, limited, distinguished or overruled. The seal is measured on the citations the decision received from later rulings, not inferred from its own text. You can open the full text of one decision at a time, page by page. For your firm's collection, search works by meaning: it finds a pleading by what it argues, not by its file name. From every indexed document you get its theses, claims, grounds and the precedents it cites — each with its own seal. Before drafting, Maestria fetches the house model: the document in the collection that fits the kind of pleading, with its analysis and a sample of the real text, so the draft starts with the firm's form instead of from scratch. After drafting, it grounds one thesis at a time and warns when a precedent it found is binding AGAINST the party you represent. Saving, moving, creating folders, applying precedents to a document and deleting are the only write operations, and each one asks for your confirmation. Everything else only reads. Maestria is a product for lawyers who work with Brazilian law; the interface, the case law and the support are in Portuguese. It requires a Maestria account.
