Mailbox MCP connects Claude to the email mailbox you already own: Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, Gmail, Fastmail, or any ordinary IMAP host. Nothing is migrated and no copy of your mail is kept. Looking for a way to connect Claude to Outlook? This is it, and it reaches further than connecting to the app would. Outlook is a program on your computer; your mail lives in a mailbox behind it. Mailbox MCP connects to that mailbox directly, so it works whether or not Outlook is installed, at your desk or on your phone, and treats Microsoft 365, Gmail and any IMAP host the same way. Ask what has come in and get the senders, subjects and first line of every message in one answer. Search across folders. Read a message, or a whole email thread, without marking anything as read. Send, reply and forward as yourself or as any alias on the mailbox, each with its own signature. Save a draft, including a real threaded reply, and rework it without leaving old copies behind. File the way your own mail client does. Archive a message and it goes where that mailbox's Archive button would put it, which is a different folder on Microsoft 365 and on Gmail and not one Gmail has at all. Report spam and it lands in Junk, which is what teaches the filter. Move, delete, flag, mark read or unread, and create, rename and delete folders. Attachments travel without passing through the model: one already in the mailbox, one at a web address, or one from your computer over an upload link. A download link comes back for whatever arrives. On Microsoft 365, Google Calendar and CalDAV accounts it opens the diary too: see who is free, find a time everybody can meet, book it, move it, cancel it, and set your out-of-office. Ask whether an email actually arrived. It reads the bounces your mailbox received and says which address failed and whether that is permanent. Check whether your domain is set up to be trusted. When no read receipt exists it says so plainly, because most mail programs never send one.
