ManyScripts gets the spoken words out of public social videos. Paste a video link into Claude and ask for the transcript. Claude gets the full, word-for-word transcript in the language the video was spoken in, so it can quote it, summarize it, translate it or study it with you. Supported links: YouTube (videos and Shorts), TikTok, Instagram Reels, X/Twitter, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (beta). What you get for each video: - The full spoken transcript, not a summary - The creator's own caption, kept separate from the spoken words - Title, creator, length, upload date and hashtags, when the platform shows them - View, like, comment and share counts, when available - Timed segments, when available Good for: - Turning a video into notes, quotes or a blog draft - Checking what a creator actually said - Studying hooks and scripts of short videos - Translating a video's speech into another language It works with one public video link at a time. It does not work with private videos, Stories, photo posts, profiles or channels, or uploaded audio files. You need a ManyScripts account to connect. Free accounts can transcribe 5 videos every 24 hours, each up to 20 minutes long.
