NC General Statutes
NC General Statutes gives ChatGPT read-only access to the North Carolina General Statutes, mirrored from the General Assembly's site (ncleg.gov) and refreshed weekly. Ask about a topic and it finds the sections that cover it. Give it a citation such as G.S. 20-141 and it returns the text. It can also show how a section has been amended over time, compare two versions word by word, list changes that have been enacted but are not yet in effect, report what took effect on a given date, and show which sections cite a statute and which ones it cites. Two limits apply to every answer. The text is the codified statute book, which lags behind newly enacted law, and every response says how current it is. Bills that are still pending are not included, so check a bill's status on ncleg.gov. North Carolina law only. This is raw statute text, not legal advice. Annotations and case notes are not included.
