Nomina answers market questions with sourced, dated evidence from public data: Chainlink price feeds read directly from the Ethereum blockchain (Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and other crypto; EUR/USD and other FX; gold and silver; a few US equities and ETFs such as SPY, QQQ, NVDA, TSLA), the US Treasury's daily par yield curve, Bureau of Labor Statistics series (CPI, unemployment, payrolls, earnings), SEC EDGAR company filings, and GDELT news records. No API keys, no accounts, no trading. Five read-only tools: • search_markets — find symbols in Nomina's catalog and recent headlines. • research_asset — latest value, period change, drawdown and volatility, dated history and headlines for one symbol, over a named period or an exact date window. • compare_assets — align 2–6 symbols on shared dates, each in its own unit; mixed prices and yields are flagged rather than blended. • market_overview — period changes for BTC, ETH, SOL, gold, SPY, QQQ, EUR/USD, US 2- and 10-year yields and CPI. • company_fundamentals — latest annual and quarterly revenue, income, EPS, balance-sheet and cash-flow figures with filing links for any SEC registrant. Every response carries source URLs, observation timestamps and caveats, so Claude can cite what the data shows and say what it does not. Limits: prices exist only for instruments with an on-chain feed (use company_fundamentals for other companies); oracle prices update on heartbeat or deviation and can lag exchange closes; headlines are GDELT records (title and link), not article text. Nomina stores no queries or conversation data; only tool inputs are sent to the public sources named in its privacy policy.
