Numenai is the knowledge layer of a company. It brings together documents, meeting notes, wiki pages and connected sources (such as Google Drive, Gmail, Notion and GitHub), organizes them into a knowledge graph with human curation, and keeps track of where each fact came from and when. With this connector, Claude can work with your company's official sources: - Ask the company knowledge base a question in plain language and get an answer with cited sources, dates, and which source is valid today when sources disagree. - Search documents, read full documents and browse departments and folders. - Run read-only Python over many documents in an isolated sandbox to count, compare or build tables. - Save drafts, publish and update documents; admins can also move documents to the trash (restorable for 30 days) and restore them. The exact set of tools depends on the workspace's settings and the person's role. Access control: Claude only sees what the signed-in person can already see in Numenai (folders, departments and confidentiality levels). Documents outside that scope behave as if they do not exist. Admins can turn write tools off, tool by tool, in the workspace's agent limits, and tools that change existing data are annotated as destructive so Claude asks before running them.
