This plugin helps production and artificial lift engineers choose an electric submersible pump (ESP) system for an oil well and check how it will perform under the well’s conditions. Start with your well geometry, fluid and reservoir data, and target production rate. Upload an Excel questionnaire, a supported export (e.g. SubPump) or a saved project - or enter the data in the forms within ChatGPT. Then ask a question such as “Select an ESP for this well” or “Check the risk of corrosion.” You’ll get a proposed equipment selection, including the pump, motor, cables and supporting equipment, along with calculation results, charts and explanations. You can also assess potential problems such as free gas, scale, wax deposits and corrosion. Change the operating speed, manufacturer or well conditions and rerun the calculation to explore another option. Your well data carries through the conversation, and you can open the same project in nv.design to continue in the full application. Sign in to browse your account Projects and Cases or explicitly save the current project. After saving or selecting an account Case, committed project changes are synchronized to your account.
