Overpass.ch
overpass.ch connects Claude to the Overpass API on the full OpenStreetMap planet, updated every minute, with geocoding and elevation in the same account. With it, Claude can: - find, count and list what is mapped anywhere: shops, pharmacies, transit stops, buildings, roads, trails, charging stations, with their tags such as opening hours, operator or capacity - find places and addresses by name, in English, German and French, and the address at a point - look up the height of points and the elevation profile of a route: a 2 m grid in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, a 30 m grid elsewhere on land, depths at sea - query the map at a past date, back to September 2012 (Medium and Large plans) - find tested example queries for a topic Example questions: - How many pharmacies in Zürich are within 200 m of a tram stop? - Which mountain huts in Valais lie above 2,500 m? - List every EV charger in the canton of Bern with operator and power, as a table. - How many cafés did Lausanne have in 2015, and how many today? You sign in with your overpass.ch account; the free plan works. All tools only read data, and the calls count against the plan of your account like calls of the REST API. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence. Heights in Switzerland and Liechtenstein © swisstopo.
