OwlCAD is a browser-based parametric CAD editor built for 3D printing. With this connector, Claude can create and edit real OwlCAD projects for you: combine shapes with booleans, use built-in generators for gears, threads and Gridfinity storage, insert datasheet-dimensioned library parts, and set every dimension in millimetres. Before calling a part done, Claude can check it: confirm it builds as a watertight solid, measure its size and volume, look for overhangs and thin walls, test whether parts collide, and see whether it fits a specific printer's bed, then cut it into pieces if it does not. Results stay editable. Every model is a tree of named, dimensioned parts rather than a frozen mesh, so you can open the project in the OwlCAD editor and change any value afterwards. Export STL, 3MF or OBJ for your slicer, STEP for other CAD tools, or a 2D drawing. Who it is for: makers, students, teachers and engineers who want printable parts from a description. Limitations: OwlCAD models solid parts. It does not generate images or sculpted organic shapes through this connector, and it cannot open native files from other CAD programs; it imports STL, OBJ, 3MF and DXF. You need an existing OwlCAD Pro account, and Claude asks you to sign in to OwlCAD the first time you use it.
