Pallet is freight software for shippers, brokers, carriers and 3PLs. This connector gets less-than-truckload (LTL) freight quotes from your Pallet account without leaving the chat. Describe a shipment in plain words: pickup and delivery locations, what is moving (quantity, dimensions, weight) and any extras such as liftgate or residential delivery. The assistant asks Pallet for quotes from the carriers on your account and, if your account has public rates turned on, from carriers that publish public rates. You see each carrier's service level, total cost, currency and transit days. If you do not know the freight class, the assistant works out the density and asks Pallet for a recommended class. The carrier makes the final class decision. What it does: • Gets LTL quotes for locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico • Accepts imperial or metric units • Shows a saved quote request again by its ID • Lists the accessorials and handling units Pallet supports What it does not do: book or track shipments, quote parcel, full truckload or ocean freight, or change your carriers or account settings. Each quote request is saved to your Pallet account, where you can review it and book it in the Pallet web app. You need a Pallet shipper or broker account with at least one carrier, or public rates turned on. You sign in with OAuth and no API key is needed. Carrier accounts that publish tariffs in Pallet cannot connect. Quotes are estimates: the carrier sets the final charges.
