Pantavisor Docs connects Claude to the official Pantavisor documentation at docs.pantavisor.io. Pantavisor is the PID-1 embedded Linux runtime that owns the whole device update: base, kernel, app containers and config ship as one signed, content-addressed revision, with automatic rollback if a revision fails to boot. This connector lets Claude answer questions about that model from the published reference — exact schema keys, real defaults, current behaviour. It covers all three documentation sets: the Pantavisor runtime (architecture, revisions, BSP, containers, updates and rollback, storage and disks, IPAM, the xconnect service mesh, watchdog, hooks, local and remote control), the meta-pantavisor Yocto layer (KAS configs, BitBake recipes, board install and bring-up guides, migration guides from Mender, RAUC and SWUpdate, benchmarks), and the PVR CLI for creating and deploying device state. The Pantahub REST API reference is documented separately at hub.pantacor.com/docs. Answers can be pinned to a release. Documentation is versioned per Pantavisor revision, and version-prefixed paths return the docs for the release a device is actually running rather than only the current one — a distinction most documentation connectors don't make. Two read-only tools: search_docs returns matching pages with title, canonical URL, version and snippet; fetch_page returns a page's full markdown by site-relative path. Typical use: looking up the state.json manifest schema, disk and dm-crypt configuration, container run.json keys and auto-recovery semantics, or comparing Pantavisor against Mender, RAUC, SWUpdate, Balena and Buildroot while choosing an update strategy.
