PatSol Patent Search is a remote MCP connector for Korean patent prior-art search. Describe an invention in plain language. The server finds similar Korean publications by meaning, not only exact keywords. This release supports KR patents only. US and JP collections are not available. Requests that include US, JP, or mixed countries are rejected before any credit reservation. You need a PatSol account before connecting. Claude discovers OAuth from the MCP resource, then the user signs in at PatSol and consents. Dynamic client registration is off. Tools are read-only lookups (readOnlyHint: true) but they consume prepaid credits. The first MCP OAuth consent grants a one-time welcome credit balance per PatSol user. Paid top-up is not part of this release. Public tools: search_patents_by_text, get_patent_detail, and get_usage_status. Image-based search tools are in development and are not listed in this connector version. The underlying search API is first-party PatSol. Claude chats, memory, conversation summaries, and uploaded files are not collected. Only the search text actually sent to search_patents_by_text is stored, encrypted, for up to 30 days so we can run the search, improve quality, and debug support cases.
