Paylo
Paylo is a Nigerian commerce platform for both sides of a sale: shoppers buying from local sellers, and businesses selling online and in store. For shoppers, Claude can search Paylo stores, products and services by name, category, state and area, open a store’s catalogue or a single product, and read a shared gift wishlist with how much each item still needs. Store search returns only verified sellers, and payments on Paylo are held in escrow until the order arrives. For sellers, Claude can explain what Paylo offers, using Paylo’s own maintained data: - an online storefront and a marketplace listing - Instagram and WhatsApp catalogue import - escrow payments by card, bank transfer and USSD - checkout links in chat - a POS till, shared inventory, staff roles and multiple branches - current plans and fees It can also answer “what’s new” from Paylo’s changelog. When someone decides to start, Claude gives them a one-tap signup link. Nothing is created until they open it, tick the box to accept Paylo’s terms themselves and choose a Google or Apple account. Identity verification happens later in the Paylo Business app. The connector reads public data only. It does not sign in to anyone’s account, never asks for passwords or ID, and cannot place orders or move money. Use cases: Find and compare verified Nigerian sellers, products and services in a given state or area. Check a shared Paylo wishlist and see which items still need funding. Work out whether Paylo suits a business and which plan fits, using current fees. Open a seller account from the conversation with a one-tap link. People need no account or setup to connect. The connector only reads data.
