PermisAPI
PermisAPI gives Claude read-only access to French building permit data: 1.3 million permits from the Sitadel open data since 2013, in 101 départements, together with the context around each project. With PermisAPI, Claude can: - find permits by commune, département, dates, permit type, status, minimum land area, opportunity score, risk level or applicant company (SIREN), or by address; - open the full record of a permit: project, applicant company, status (authorised, works started, completed, cancelled); - compare it with nearby property sales (DVF, mostly 2021 to 2025), the cadastral parcel and the buildings already on it, the local zoning plan (PLU) and natural and technological risks (Géorisques); - estimate a construction budget and list building contractors registered nearby (SIRENE); - rank permits with an opportunity score whose 11 signals are explained. All 18 tools are read-only: Claude cannot change your account, plan or alerts. Each call uses the monthly quota of your PermisAPI plan, exactly like a direct API call. When your plan does not include a field (score, risk, zoning, parcel), the tool result says so instead of leaving it silently empty. No account yet? The PermisAPI page that opens when you connect can create a free access with an email address and one département. Existing users paste their PermisAPI key on that page, never in the conversation. Who uses it: property developers and dealers, architects, builders, banks and land analysts, journalists and researchers who follow construction in France. Data: French public open data (Licence Ouverte 2.0) from Sitadel, DVF, the cadastre, the Géoportail de l'Urbanisme, Géorisques and SIRENE, loaded and cross-referenced by PermisAPI. The database holds authorised, started, completed and cancelled permits; it holds no refusals and no applications still under review.
