Pinpal Notes is a beautiful, simple notes app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Folders, notes and checklists, and nothing else: no databases, no blocks, no templates, and no AI inside the app. When you want, the AI you already use connects and works in the same notes. You write together. Claude writes, you tick: ask for a barbecue shopping list for eight, it lands in Shopping, and you tick it off in the store. You write, Claude reads: jot down your thoughts on the kitchen, and weeks later ask "What did I decide about the worktop?" Claude keeps your lists current: "add dish soap to the grocery list" adds to the list you already have instead of making a second one. It is one set of notes, in the folders you already see. Connected, Claude can list your folders and notes, read a note in full, create a folder, create a note in the right folder, edit a note's title or body, star it, move it to another folder, archive it or bring it back, attach a file such as a photo, a receipt or a Markdown file, and read the files on a note, including looking at a photo. Notes are Markdown with headings, lists and checklists; the apps show them richly and never show the syntax. What Claude cannot do: remove a file from a note, or delete a folder. Deleting a note moves it to Recently deleted in your app, where you can restore it for 30 days; the tool is marked destructive, so Claude asks first, and archiving is how a note leaves the list without being deleted. Your notes are kept in the EU, never sold and never used to train AI. A connection is a personal token for your own notes only; you see every connection in the app under Account and can revoke one at any time.
