Poof removes the background from an image or video, so Claude can hand you a clean cut-out of the subject. Give Claude a link to a photo or video and Poof returns the subject on a transparent background, or on a solid colour of your choice. It finds people, products, cars, animals and graphics automatically and keeps fine edges such as hair and fur. Claude can also crop the result to the subject, or fit it to an exact size such as a 1000 × 1000 square, without stretching it. What you can do with it: - Prepare product photos or videos for a shop or marketplace listing - Put a product or person on a white or brand-coloured background - Make cut-outs for slides, social posts and design mock-ups - Work through several photos or videos in one conversation - Check how many credits are left on your Poof plan Poof edits the images or videos you give it. It does not create new images or videos. Media are processed in memory and deleted as soon as the result is returned, and they are never used to train models. You need a Poof account. Sign in when you connect; there is no API key to copy. The free plan includes 100 credits a month, and one credit removes the background from one image. Input images can be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB. Videos can be MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV up to 100 MB.
