Poof is AI bookkeeping for small businesses and trade contractors. Connect it to Claude and ask about your books in plain words: how last month went, who owes you and how late they are, which bills are due this week, which jobs made money, where cash will be over the next 13 weeks, and whether the month is closed. Claude reads the same numbers Poof's own screens show: the profit and loss, receivables and payables aging, open invoices and bills, job profitability, the cash plan, month-end close checks, accrual schedules, fixed assets, depreciation, loans, purchase orders and the approval cards waiting for you. Read-only by design. Claude can't post an entry, move money, send an invoice or approve anything; those stay in Poof, decided by a person. You sign in with your own Poof account and choose which company to connect. Claude sees only what your role can see. Customer and vendor names are replaced with codes and personal details are removed before anything leaves Poof. Disconnect any time in Poof under Settings → Chat apps → AI assistants.
