Precleared
Precleared answers one question before an outbound agent sends a cold marketing email: is this address allowed? Send the recipient's email or domain, where you are based and where the address came from. Back comes a verdict (ok to email, consent needed, blocked or unknown), a confidence grade, the rule that decided it with its source, the footer wording the email needs, the next step, the facts used, and a receipt signed with our key. It checks the mailbox record, works out the recipient's country, looks the company up on the register (Companies House for the UK), tells a company from a sole trader, and applies the rules for the UK (PECR and UK GDPR), the US (CAN-SPAM), Canada (CASL), Germany (UWG) and France. Every rule is published with its source at precleared.dev/rules. The receipt is the point. It records that Precleared was asked this question, with these facts, at this time, and gave this answer. Anyone can open it at precleared.dev/r/ and verify the Ed25519 signature with the public key. It is your record of due diligence. Two tools: contact_check and verify_receipt. No OAuth. Works without a key (10 checks a day), with a free key (25 a day) or with a prepaid £39 pack of 2,000 checks that never expire, so a runaway agent can only spend what you loaded. Decision support with sources, not legal advice.
