Pxie
Pxie gives Claude live environmental and space weather data through 30 read-only tools. Ask in plain language and Claude pulls current readings and forecasts for any location. What you can ask about: - Space weather: Kp index, storm level, solar wind, solar flares, Dst, CME arrival and multi-day forecasts - Aurora: probability of seeing the aurora at your location, the current aurora oval and substorm activity - Astronomy and sky: moon phase, sunrise and sunset, twilight, dark-sky windows, cloud cover and sky conditions - Light pollution: how dark the sky is at any spot - Ocean: sea surface temperature and bioluminescence forecasts - Local magnetic activity from ground magnetometer stations - Agriculture: soil properties, soil moisture and growing climate - Power grids: geomagnetic storm exposure for grid regions, lines and substations Pxie builds its data from government and scientific sources such as NOAA and Environment and Climate Change Canada, cleans and standardizes it, and adds its own forecasts. Every result includes its data sources. Tools are read-only: Pxie never changes anything in your account or elsewhere. Each tool call uses credits from your Pxie account at the same rates as the Pxie REST API, and only successful calls are charged. Requirements: a Pxie account on the Builder plan or higher. Sign in with your Pxie account when you connect; no API key is needed. Example prompts: - "What are my chances of seeing the northern lights in Edmonton tonight?" - "Is a geomagnetic storm expected this week, and how strong?" - "When is the next dark, moon-free night for stargazing near Banff, and will it be cloudy?" - "How exposed is the Alberta power grid to the current solar storm?"
