Search1API gives Claude live access to the public web through five read-only tools: • search: search the live web and get citable results with title, URL, and snippet. Pick the source (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, X, Reddit, GitHub, YouTube, arXiv, Wikipedia, IMDb, WeChat, or Bilibili), limit results to a time range, and include or exclude specific sites. • news: find recent news coverage from Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, or Hacker News. • crawl: read the full, clean text of a public page, from a search result or a link you paste. • sitemap: discover the links on a page or domain to see how a site is organized. • trending: see what is popular right now on GitHub or Hacker News. Every result carries its canonical URL, so Claude can cite sources in research answers, briefings, and fact checks. All tools only read public web content. Nothing is posted, changed, or deleted. You sign in with your Search1API account over OAuth, and searches use your Search1API credits.
