SEN Energy Data by Sherpas is our own curated analytics over the public data of Chile's Sistema Eléctrico Nacional (SEN), mainly published by the CEN. "Certified" means metric definitions that Sherpas documents and validates internally, not a third-party certification. Figures can differ from official ones, and the official source prevails. Ask in plain language about generation, demand, marginal costs (CMg), curtailment, BESS storage and commercial settlement, without hand-written SQL. A canonical entity dictionary resolves the SEN's source-specific identifiers into one identity per plant, substation or company. sen_run_metric runs a certified metric (e.g. capacity factor by technology, curtailment loss in USD); sen_run_operation runs an analytical shape (rank, share, delta, top-N); sen_query_sql is a read-only last resort, marked de-certified. Every result carries its data-coverage date and a note when a question falls into a declared gap. Data we receive: not your conversation, only the tool calls your AI client makes (tool, parameters, your sign-in email), logged for 180 days. The one exception is the optional tool sen_submit_report: only when you ask, and after you confirm the exact content, it sends a short report that you write about a result or problem, plus at most three question and answer pairs you choose.
