ShiftControl's MCP server lets you manage your organization's people, groups, and SaaS apps in ShiftControl using natural-language commands and the access you already have.
Use it to:
- Audit your SaaS inventory: list tracked apps and the apps discovered through your integrations, spot shadow IT and unexpected OAuth installs, then add, snooze, or dismiss each one.
- Keep subscription data current: read plan, cost, renewal, and contract terms, and record changes without a spreadsheet.
- Investigate an app or a person: who has access to an app, which groups and apps a person can reach, and how they got that access.
- Run joiners, movers, and leavers: create, update, suspend, restore, or delete users in Google Workspace or JumpCloud.
- Manage access: give people and groups access to an app or take it away, and edit group members and Google Groups settings.
- Keep your org structure tidy: create, rename, and delete teams, departments, locations, and group tags, and find apps with no owner.
Every change asks for your explicit confirmation before anything is written, and the connector can do only what your ShiftControl role allows. Deleting a user is permanent, so Claude is instructed to confirm the exact person first and to prefer suspending.
